TCAEOP HOSTS RAINBOW TEA
Petersburg – The Tri-City Association of Educational Office Professionals had its culminating fundraiser for the year in the form of a “Rainbow Tea” on Saturday, June 22, at the Tabernacle Community Life Center on Halifax Street. There were approximately 200 persons in attendance wearing all different colors in the rainbow.
Tables and accoutrements were decorated in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. A delicious tea was served and there was a fashion show and pantomime dancers for entertainment. The fashion show was coordinated by Richard Caple. Each Color Team Captain gave a brief description of what their color means.
All funds raised helped to increase the organization’s scholarship fund. Ms. India Parson, author, speaker and owner of Building Economic Stability Together, served as MC and Commentator.
