PETERSBURG – The Tri-City Association of Educational Office Professionals had its culminating Fund Raiser for the year in the form of a “Rainbow Tea” on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Tabernacle Community Life Center on Halifax Street in the City. There were approximately 200 persons in attendance wearing all the different colors in the rainbow. Tables and accoutrements were decorated in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple.
A delicious Tea was served and there was a fashion show for entertainment, coordinated by Mr. Richard Caple. Those in attendance described it as a “beautiful affair.” All funds raised helped to increase the Scholarship Fund. Prizes were given to the team raising the most money, and the Yellow Team won. Prizes were also given to the team selling the most tickets, and the Red Team won. TCAEOP extends thanks to all persons participating and assisting with the success of this event.
